Masonic Musical Presentation
Lodge Meeting July 20th 2023
Our planned raising ceremony was postponed but W. Bro. David Shaw stepped in and provided a very interesting and entertaining Masonic Musical presentation. W. Bro. Shaw gave some detailed background to the lives of several famous musicians and composers who were Freemasons, illustrated with excerpts of their music.
A non masonic guest was present at the festive board so proceedings were kept very informal. We had our usual raffle and harmony. The raffle raised £130 for the Masonic Charities Foundation and the harmony was provided by Ian Summers who played and sang several popular songs from artists such as Leo Sayer, Coldplay, Roy Orbison.
