Four members from The Holme Valley Lodge including myself, along with the W. M. joined over 100 other masons at the Installation at Albert Edward Lodge. It lasted from 3.30pm when the Lodge was Tyled until about 10.30pm when the Festive Board was deemed closed. Although I’m sure there were many that stayed longer.

It was a great night, and as usual on these occasions, it was a chance to renew old friendships and to start new ones. I was happy to have met up with last years Masters of the Year “The Bulldogs” and the Masters of the Previous Year, “The Kingsmen”. Both years being well represented as were the current Masters of the Year.

The various fundraising activities were well supported with the main beneficiary being Platform 1 a mental health charity and the current masters of the year’s chosen charity.
