Ladies Night at HVL

One of the highlights of the year took place on 6th March 2019 when the Worshipful Master and his wife, Mich, hosted HVL’s annual Ladies Night dinner dance.  Approximately 90 brethren and their partners and guests enjoyed  a champagne reception on arrival, followed by delicious  4 course meal. Speeches followed by, amongst others, the first lady of the night, Mich, and then serenades to the ladies from local tenor, Norman Mellor. The evening was rounded off with an eclectic range of popular  hit songs from the ,”Bash The Bishop” 3-piece band.

Supper in the form of bacon rolls was served around mid-night before carriages took guests home at 1.00am.
