Introduced to encourage Holme Valley Lodge members, potential members, their families and their friends to meet up and enjoy social evening in a relaxed environment, the 5th Thursday is proving evermore popular. Last night saw over 30 enjoy a meal of meat and potato pie with braised red cabbage followed up with homemade rice pudding and jam.

The meal was kindly provided by lodge member Brian and his wife Lorraine. The cost of the meal was covered by a raffle with several prizes being kindly donated by members.

The meal was followed by a quiz which was designed by Nic and related to events which happened in 2024.

Organised by John (Social Secretary) with assistance from Ashley (Lodge secretary) and with Gez kindly running the bar, the evening proved a huge success.
