Brass Band Grant – Helping to keep traditional forms of music going !

Holme Valley Lodge  ( No.652) have a tradition of supporting brass bands in the Holme Valley, none more so than the Hade Edge Brass Band. Local businessman and previous Master of HVL, the late Edgar Dickinson, MBE built the current band building in Hade Edge.  After  a successful bid for monies from the Provincial Grand Master’s fund, HVL ‘s Worshipful Master, Ashley Craven, was able to present a cheque of £1,000 to Robert Turnball the current band master for much needed new equipment.
