Thanksgiving Lunch

On 25th October the First Lady of HVL, Marg Craven, hosted an American themed THANKSGIVING LUNCH for 84 guests. We were treated to traditional American fare, including, Butter Roasted Turkey, Sweet Potato and Marshmallow, Pican Pie and Pumpkin Pie ! During lunch guests learnt the true meaning  of Thanksgiving from Prof Todd Borlick, lecturer at Huddersfield University.

After a fantastic meal, guests moved upstairs to listen and dance  to the rock band, Bash The Bishop, who gave a rousing set of popular rock songs.
