Charitable activities are an important part of masonic life and HVL are proud to sponsor the Royal Masonic Benevolent Institute facility of Connaught Court, based in York. Connaught Court provides residential care, nursing and dementia support for up to 90 residents Situated in extensive parkland close to York City Centre, the Home was purpose-built in 1971. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well-maintained, providing pleasant areas to sit and walk with sufficient space for disabled access. Connaught Court is registered for residential, nursing and dementia care with the dual benefits of individual rooms and shared communal areas. The categories of care offered are dependent upon people’s assessed individual needs. WB Dave Neve, a previous past master of HVL, acts as Connaught Court Ambassador on behalf of HVL.
